I am proud to serve as President of Fauske & Associates, LLC an affiliate of Westinghouse Electric Company LLC. Founded in 1980, we assumed early leadership roles in the acclaimed DIERS program for AIChE and the IDCOR program for the nuclear power industries. These activities led to state-of-the-art methodology and laboratory tools for characterizing chemical systems and computer models for analyzing severe accidents in commercial nuclear power plants now used worldwide. As we grew, we added only the highest caliber individuals to our staff. In 1986, we became a Westinghouse Electric Company.
Our staff is committed to total quality and is recognized worldwide for phenomenological modeling, related to the prevention and accommodation of chemical and nuclear power accidents. Advanced training and research in physics, chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, nuclear engineering, computer science and other fields facilitate an effective team approach. We are committed to accepting responsibility for the resolution of technical problems and have established an excellent record of completing projects on time and within budget. This philosophy is part of the reason why leading corporations turn to us for consultation to solve industrial problems. Corporations recognize the need for assistance from experts uniquely qualified to work with the complexities of nuclear and chemical systems. They recognize the integrity of a firm willing to accept responsibility for the results of its work up to and through industrial application. In short, they recognize the need for technical minds to solve technical problems. Our firm is ISO-9001 and TickIT certified.
